The rules governing the use of NoWallKid.

Version 1.0

Last updated: 30 May 2026

1. Introduction

NoWallKid is an application intended for parents, legal representatives and authorised adults to help them organise everyday family life.

The service may include task, routine, medicine, calendar, child-related information, baby tracking, school transport, child profiles, health information entered by users, family conversations, “Between Us” exchanges and, where available, consultations concerning a child with specialists.

NoWallKid is a family organisation support tool. It never replaces the responsibility of parents, legal representatives or users.

Use of the service implies full acceptance of these Terms of Use.

3. Account creation

Using NoWallKid requires the creation of a user account.

The user is responsible for all activity carried out through their account, unless they can demonstrate fraudulent use that was not caused by their negligence.

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.
  • Keep account information up to date.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • Immediately report any unauthorised use of the account.

4. Permitted use

The user agrees to use NoWallKid in accordance with applicable law, these terms and the family-oriented purpose of the service.

In particular, users must not:

  • Use the service fraudulently.
  • Transmit unlawful, abusive or misleading content.
  • Attempt to access systems or data without authorisation.
  • Harm the security, availability or operation of the service.
  • Use NoWallKid in a way that conflicts with a child’s best interests.

5. Family accounts and roles

NoWallKid allows several users to collaborate within the same family.

Parents remain responsible for the access they grant, modify or revoke.

Access rights may depend on the assigned role, the permissions defined and, where applicable, the children the user is authorised to access.

Actions performed by authorised adults remain under their responsibility and that of the parents who granted them access.

  • Parent or legal representative.
  • Authorised relative or guest.
  • Nanny or caregiver.
  • Educator or other authorised professional.

6. Children’s data

Some features allow information about children to be recorded, including identification and organisational information, useful contacts, school or childcare information and, where users choose to provide it, health information such as allergies, blood group, medicines, treatments, doses or other information useful for day-to-day care.

Parents or legal representatives are responsible for the information they add, modify, share or delete about their children and must have the necessary authority to enter that information into the service.

Users agree to enter only information that is useful, accurate, relevant and necessary for family organisation and to avoid providing sensitive information that is not necessary for the relevant feature.

Access to information concerning a child depends on the user’s role, configured permissions and, where applicable, the child or children the user has been expressly authorised to access.

NoWallKid is not designed to be used directly by children.

7. Medical features

NoWallKid may provide organisation tools relating to medicines, treatments, doses, schedules, reminders and tracking.

Medical information is entered solely by users. NoWallKid does not verify the accuracy of doses, treatments, frequencies, prescriptions or recorded information.

Users remain solely responsible for checking doses, treatments, prescriptions, schedules, frequencies and medical information recorded in NoWallKid.

Reminders and notifications are provided solely as assistance tools. NoWallKid does not guarantee that they will be received, displayed, transmitted, reviewed or acted upon within any particular timeframe.

Medical decisions concerning a child must always be made with care and, where necessary, in consultation with a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional.

In case of doubt, emergency or medical question, the user must immediately contact a qualified healthcare professional or the appropriate emergency services.

  • NoWallKid is not a medical device.
  • NoWallKid does not provide medical diagnoses.
  • NoWallKid does not issue medical prescriptions.
  • NoWallKid never replaces a doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional.
  • NoWallKid does not guarantee the absence of errors, omissions or incorrect entries.

8. Health records and sensitive child information

Child profiles may allow parents or legal representatives to record information such as allergies, blood group, medical contacts, useful emergency information or other health-related data.

These fields are intended to facilitate organisation and the sharing of information entered by users. NoWallKid does not determine, infer or medically validate this information.

The presence of information in NoWallKid must never be regarded as medical confirmation. Allergies, blood group, doses and other health information should, where necessary, be verified against a reliable source or with a qualified healthcare professional.

9. Family conversations

NoWallKid may allow authorised members of a family to exchange messages in private conversation spaces associated with the family.

Access to conversations depends on the participants, roles and applicable access rights. The NoWallKid team does not systematically read or moderate the content of family conversations through ordinary administration tools.

Users are responsible for the messages and content they transmit. Conversations must not be used to transmit unlawful, threatening, harassing or fraudulent content, content that infringes the rights of others, or content contrary to a child’s best interests.

Where abuse or unlawful conduct is brought to NoWallKid’s attention through an appropriate channel, NoWallKid may take reasonably available measures concerning an account or access to the service. This does not create any general obligation to monitor private conversations.

10. “Between Us”

“Between Us” allows a user to send a private message or testimonial directly to the NoWallKid team and, where applicable, receive a reply.

Unlike family conversations, NoWallKid is the intended recipient of messages sent through “Between Us”, and authorised members of the team may review them to the extent necessary to handle the exchange.

A private message sent through “Between Us” is not intended for publication merely because it has been submitted. If NoWallKid wishes to propose publication of a testimonial, a version intended for publication, which may be anonymised, must be presented to the user, and no publication may take place without the user’s explicit consent through the mechanism provided by the service.

Refusing publication does not affect normal use of NoWallKid. The processing of personal data and the retention of evidence of consent are described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Child-related consultations with specialists

Where this feature is available, a parent or legal representative may ask a question, request a consultation or book a service with a specialist concerning a child they are authorised to access.

The consultation is focused on the child concerned. The parent initiating the consultation is responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the information provided to the specialist and must have the necessary authority to communicate information concerning the child.

Access to consultation content is not automatically granted to relatives, educators or other adults who have general access to the family. Applicable access depends on the operation of the service, permissions and confidentiality rules for the consultation concerned.

Specialists practise within the scope of their professional competence and remain responsible for their professional assessments, advice and actions, as well as compliance with applicable legal, confidentiality, professional authorisation and insurance obligations.

NoWallKid provides technical infrastructure that may facilitate introductions, communication, booking and, where applicable, payment. NoWallKid does not replace the specialist in the exercise of their professional activity.

Consultations through NoWallKid are not an emergency service. In an emergency or any situation requiring immediate care, the user must not wait for a response through NoWallKid and must immediately contact the appropriate emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.

12. Subscriptions

Some NoWallKid features may only be available through a paid subscription.

Available plans may include a monthly subscription at CHF 9.90 per month or an annual subscription at CHF 89.90 per year, unless a different price is displayed at the time of subscription.

Included features are identical across plans unless otherwise stated at the time of subscription.

The subscription is linked to a family and grants access to parents and authorised adults according to the roles and permissions defined.

The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of subscription.

NoWallKid reserves the right to change its prices for future billing periods. Affected users will be informed before new prices take effect where required by law.

13. Free trial

NoWallKid may offer a free trial period of seven (7) days.

At the end of the free trial, the user may choose a paid subscription to continue using the relevant features.

No payment is due before the user voluntarily selects a paid subscription.

The free trial is limited to one use per family unless NoWallKid decides otherwise.

NoWallKid reserves the right to suspend or terminate the free trial in the event of abusive, fraudulent or non-compliant use.

14. Payments, renewal and cancellation

Payments and subscriptions may be processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe or another payment provider depending on the platform and subscription method used. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed in accordance with the rules and account settings of the relevant store. NoWallKid does not store full payment card numbers.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Automatic renewal may be disabled before the next billing date using the options provided by NoWallKid or the relevant payment provider.

The user may cancel their subscription using the options available in the application, on the website or through the relevant payment provider.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Access to paid features may remain active until that date.

Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription when that subscription is managed by a third-party payment provider.

15. Refund policy

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, subscriptions already paid are non-refundable.

Where a purchase is managed by Apple, Google or another third-party provider, refund requests must be made in accordance with that provider’s procedures and rules. For payments managed directly by NoWallKid, NoWallKid may consider an exceptional refund request, particularly in the event of a technical error, duplicate billing or another duly justified situation, subject to applicable law.

16. Account suspension or deletion

NoWallKid may suspend or delete an account in the event of abusive, fraudulent or unlawful use, use contrary to these terms, or where such use compromises the security of the service, other users or a child’s interests.

The user may request deletion of their account under the procedures set out in the application and the Privacy Policy.

17. Service availability

NoWallKid uses reasonable efforts to ensure the availability and proper operation of the service.

The service may nevertheless be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical reasons, security reasons, force majeure or the intervention of third-party providers.

NoWallKid does not guarantee permanent, uninterrupted or error-free access to the service.

18. Limitation of liability

NoWallKid is a family organisation support tool.

Users remain responsible for the information entered, access granted, decisions made, actions taken and verification of data used in the family context.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NoWallKid shall not be liable for omissions, data-entry errors, decisions made by users, actions performed by authorised adults, failure to receive notifications, indirect losses, data loss or damage resulting from use of the service contrary to these terms.

19. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and, where children’s data is concerned, in the Children’s Data Policy.

These documents form an integral part of the information provided to NoWallKid users.

20. Changes to these terms

NoWallKid may amend these terms to comply with legal developments, introduce new features, improve the service or strengthen security.

Where necessary, users may be asked to accept a new version of these terms before continuing to use the service.

21. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law.

Any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.
